Torchlight Recognized as Twitter Official Partner
– Dedicated advertising management platform Sherpa now compatible with Twitter Ads –

Torchlight Inc. (henceforth Torchlight – Head Office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President & CEO: Takeshi Yabuki), a consolidated subsidiary of D.A.Consortium (henceforth DAC – Head Office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President & CEO: Hirotake Yajima) has been recognized as a Twitter Official Partner (*1) by Twitter (henceforth Twitter – Head Office: California; CEO: Dick Costolo). Torchlight have used Twitter Ads API to equip its in-house developed advertising management platform “Sherpa”with features that enable Twitter advertising and reporting.

Background to being recognized by Twitter as a Twitter Official Partner

In the United States and all around the world the importance of Twitter advertising in business marketing operations is increasing. The complexity of the target audience, sophisticated advertising performance analysis, and the speed at which companies can effectively manage their operations in a plan-do-check-act fashion all have a direct influence on profit. Structuring advertising operations and the accumulation of know-how is also imperative. Being recognized by Twitter as a Twitter Official Partner has enabled Japan-based Torchlight to develop a tool which incorporates its rich and deep Twitter advertising management know-how and will allow it to respond rapidly to new developments in Twitter advertising in the future. Torchlight plans to continue to roll out proprietary services that utilize the Twitter Ads API.

Features of Sherpa on Twitter Ads Platform

Sherpa, developed and operated by Torchlight, can be used to set complex target segments based on variables such as gender, location (country, region), TV targeting, Twitter handles targeting and interest targeting. It also enables separate campaign settings for different goals such as links to external sites, conversions, follower acquisition and lead generation, and can be set to post paid advertisements only for user actions that are in line with the campaign goals (e.g. conversions or clicks). Further, it offers user-friendly advertising budget usage visualization to lighten the budget management burden.

Sherpa is also equipped with a range of features specifically for segment creation and managing complex campaigns such as a dashboard which enables easy comparison of many campaigns or even audience groups and targeting variables on the same graph and target audience library feature which supports saving, re-use and the sharing of the created audiences.
